Although he'd spent 22 successful years in the telecommunications industry, Ken Macdonald felt the need for change, recognizing the deterioration of customer service and lack of attention to detail from telecom service providers and vendors. He came to the realization that the telecommunications industry practices and his personal values were not in alignment. He then made a commitment to create a new kind of telecommunications company. 

 

He envisioned nothing less than a new business model, one that would revolutionize the telecommunications service industry by meeting the following criteria:

Pam Macdonald

Pam Macdonald is the VP of Operations and Co-Founder of Network Services Corp. and has spent 15+ years in the telecommunications industry.

 

Her wealth of knowledge comes from a widely varied career in this field including: Account Executive, selling small business phone systems for At&t in Chicago, Service Representative/Account Manager for Centex Telemanagement, Training Manager for MFS Intelenet, Sales Manager for Cellutech and most recently, running the Operations Department at NSC. "The day to day grind in operations and service in telecommunications can be frustrating. What makes it all worth it is a satisfied customer. We pride ourselves in going 'above and beyond' to deliver a superior level of customer service to our customers."

 

"We are truly a customer advocate in an area that is often fraught with frustration in dealing with the various components of their businesses telco and data needs, especially in an ever changing industry." When Pam is not dealing with the challenges of a fast paced, growing business, she can be found on the tennis court, running on the beach, at the gym or running her two teenagers around!

Krista Hurley, born and raised in Maryland, where her family still resides, now considers Network Services Corp to be her 2nd family. Always thriving to succeed with all aspects of her life, Krista is now thrilled to be part of such an amazing, growing company. Being involved in team sports where losing was not an option, is her motto on and off the field. Teamwork, dedication, and motivation are characteristics of a winning team and Network Services Corp is her winning team.

 

Krista attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania where she studied Business Management and received a soccer scholarship. Upon graduation, Krista jumped right into the Biz and quickly worked her way up as Sales Manager for a luxury New Home Builder in Maryland. Showing immediate success and proven worth to the company, Krista traveled between each new community to fill in sales gaps and meet deadlines. After much success, it was time to take a step back and enjoy life, which led to her Worldly travels and then future move to Cardiff by the sea, CA.

 

After realizing that she would never be a professional soccer player or snow skier, it was time to start the search for a company that fit her core values, morals, ethics, and way of life. Then she found Network Services Corp. Her goal at Network Services Corp is not only to continue the growth of a successful business, but to grow and maintain the relationships with her teammates, Ken & Pam Macdonald, Janelle Coon, and Richard Shean. Not only will you find Krista managing sales, growing the biz, and building partnerships for Network Services Corp, but she can be found in the Kitchen, behind her camera lense, on the slopes, or on the field!

When she’s not taking care of her children (1 husband, 2 boys, 2 dogs and 2 cats), Andrea's second home is NSC!  She's spent years working in customer service and takes pride in ownership of her work.  With past positions ranging from Law Firms to Real Estate, Andrea has been able to gather a variety of organizational skills that are essential to working within the Telecom Industry.  A hard worker and with a 'must do' attitude, Andrea will do whatever it takes to make our customers happy.

 

Andrea grew up and remains in a military family where anything is possible. She's has spent her life traveling the country, and you can usually find her out on a road trip exploring somewhere new with the family.  Andrea spends most of her free time taking care of her family.  Her husband, Kevin and she both share a love for exploring and are always busy providing new exciting childhood memories for their children.  Andrea is excited to have found a new career with Network Services Corp that is full of opportunity and growth!

 

Richard Shean

Richard began his experience in telecommunications working with an equipment vendor in 1976. His experience includes employment with First Tel, US West Info Systems, Pacific Bell, SBC, ATT, TelePacific, Nextel and XO Communications. As District Manager for XO Communications he witnessed, first hand, the issues that can plague and bless telecommunication providers. As a Business Development Representative at NCS, Richard will represent YOUR best interests when recommending the best solution to your telecom needs.

Lisa Myers joined the operations team of Network Services Corp in 2014. Lisa’s extensive background in customer service is a perfect fit with NSC’s goal of providing quality service.   

 

Lisa’s telecommunications experience includes over 30 years working for Pacific Bell, SBC and AT&T as an Account Manager, Sales Support Manager and Project Manager. She provided sales support for data and voice products both domestically and internationally. Lisa embraces the partnership between NSC and AT&T and finds NSC a valuable key in providing a smooth transition in the implementation process.

 

Lisa grew up and still lives in Southern California. She loves the fact you can be at the beach in the morning and the snow-filled mountains later that day. She resides with her husband, Tim, who she’s been married to for over 25 years. They have three sons and one grandson who keep them young and entertained.

Lisa loves working with people and was excited when she joined  the Network Services Corp team where she can continue her passion of building relationships with customers.

 

Elyse Linn

Elyse Linn retired from AT&T with 33 years of service in 2014. She’s very knowledgeable of the AT&T products and services. She has an extensive customer support background.

Elyse graduated in 1980 from Chapman University, Orange Calif.


She is currently enrolled in the Paralegal Studies Program at Fullerton College. When not working or studying, she can be found playing with her 4 year old grandson, reading books, going to the movies.  Elyse and her husband enjoy traveling and last year took a four week car vacation across the United States, beginning in California and ending in Alabama, then back to California. What a trip! Just ask her about it!

I have a passion for reading, enjoy walking my German Shepherd and last but not least love hanging out with my grandchildren and great granddaughter.

 

Shawn Jones

Shawn Jones is a 27 year telecommunications veteran. His well-rounded experience and background fits perfectly with the vision and philosophy of Network Services Corp. His drive and passion for the telecommunications industry brings strength and continued growth to our organization.

Shawn was born and raised here in Southern California where he attended both San Diego State University and Cal State Los Angeles. After college Shawn embarked on this career path starting out in Operations. He gained much knowledge there on Network Infrastructure and on his own time studied to become a licensed low voltage contractor and qualified agent in the State of Nevada.

As he became proficient on the operations side of the business he migrated into Sales naturally. His sales experience ranges from working for some of the nation’s largest CPE companies, forming and developing multi-million dollar sales channels, and seeing companies through to acquisition.

All the while, Shawn has been dedicated to being a “Student” of his trade staying up with all the cutting edge technologies. Together, Shawn and Network Services Corp, will grow with the fundamental principles of “Customer Service” and doing good business.


 

Mark Palmer

Mark Palmer, Senior Sales Consultant

Mark has 16 years in telecommunications and has extensive experience with some of the larger telecom providers including At&t and Telepacific.   Mark is extremely motivated and has a very strong work ethic.

He knows what it takes to succeed and is very driven to do the hard work it takes day in and day out to succeed in a very competitive field.

Mark produces for Network Service Corp. month after month and is a very valued NSC team member.

On a personal note, Mark is an equine aficionado spending most of his weekends on the trail!  He also loves photography and hiking.  He is also very health conscious following a very healthy diet and working out at the gym on a daily basis! 

 

Wayne Guthrie

Wayne Guthrie retired from AT&T after a distinguished 32 year career.  During his time there, Wayne served as an Account Executive – Industry Consultant; was employee number 6 at Pacific Bell Internet Services where he helped spearhead the introduction of Internet sales to the Pacific Bell direct account teams, as well as started the first Pac Bell Internet Partner Program; served as the Technical Sales Manager for the California TSC teams and subsequently as the Technical Sales Manager for the Nationwide DNC team with the AT&T Alliance Channel.   Wayne finished his career with AT&T as the Hosting, Cloud, Security, Business Continuity and Network Integration overlay for over 700 Solution Providers in the Alliance Channel.   Wayne received numerous sales awards during his career and was awarded "President's Club" nine times.

Upon his retirement, Wayne continued on in the telecommunications industry becoming an expert on Hosted Solutions, Networking and Cyber Security.  Wayne has presented on business cyber security issues before business organizations and city chambers and is considered an “evangelist” on cyber protection for businesses.

Wayne was born and raised in Southern California where he still lives with his wife and two daughters.  Wayne is active in his community and is an avid aviation photographer.
